Veragua Rainforest Eco-Park, Costa Rica
Visitors enjoy a day of discovery and adventure in the wondrous Veragua Rainforest mountain reserve which National Geographic Traveler called “The Cream of the Cream of the Rainforest”. Surrounded by 100% rainforest, our private reserve borders the largest nature reserve in Central America (“La Amistad”).
Located one hour from the historic Caribbean town of Puerto Limón and with enchanting views of the endless mountains of the Talamanca Range, the Veragua Rainforest allows visitors to explore the natural wonders of the rainforest. With world-class facilities, astonishing natural beauty, and a commitment to conservation and scientific research, the park is also home to the Foundation for Rainforest Research, which educates tens of thousands of students and cruise ship visitors each year, and accommodates groups of overnight visitors, primarily university and high school students from the United States.
The project is the largest tourism investment in the Province of Limon and during high season employs up to 80 team members locally and in our office in the capital of San Jose.
