Blue Crest Development is the consulting and development firm representing the interests of founder Michael R. Greve. For over 20 years, Michael has been improving destinations by focusing on the guest experience and local culture. Blue Crest is involved in projects ranging from beachfront resorts to eco-tourism projects to cruise ship destinations, with current investments located in Costa Rica, Jamaica, and Honduras.

Blue Crest’s projects are distinguished by the involvement of world-class players. The firm has business relationships and financial partnerships with international hotel companies and cruise lines, as well as with governments, development finance institutions, and commercial banks throughout the Caribbean and Central America.

Blue Crest adds value as a consultant to governments and investors. Advisory services typically include feasibility, deal structuring and project finance, and hotel or port infrastructure planning.

We are committed to improving life in the communities where we do business. Our Veragua Foundation for Rainforest Research leads rainforest conservation efforts with University of Costa Rica biologists residing in our mountain reserve, where we have discovered 11 new species to date and teach 30,000 annual visitors about the rainforest firsthand. In addition, we support neighboring elementary schools by providing children with backpacks, books and materials, and contributing to the upkeep of schools.
