Veragua Rainforest Eco-Park, Costa Rica

Visitors enjoy a day of discovery and adventure in the wondrous Veragua Rainforest mountain reserve which National Geographic Traveler called “The Cream of the Cream of the Rainforest”. Surrounded by 100% rainforest, our private reserve borders the largest nature reserve in Central America (“La Amistad”).

Located one hour from the historic Caribbean town of Puerto Limón and with enchanting views of the endless mountains of the Talamanca Range, the Veragua Rainforest allows visitors to explore the natural wonders of the rainforest. With world-class facilities, astonishing natural beauty, and a commitment to conservation and scientific research, the park is also home to the Foundation for Rainforest Research, which educates tens of thousands of students and cruise ship visitors each year, and accommodates groups of overnight visitors, primarily university and high school students from the United States.

The project is the largest tourism investment in the Province of Limon and during high season employs up to 80 team members locally and in our office in the capital of San Jose.

Banana Coast Cruise Destination

Honduras’ colonial town of Trujillo was developed into Central America’s first mainland cruise destination. The privately capitalized port operated from 2014 to 2020 and hosted most major cruise lines for ship calls.

The Bay of Trujillo is natural harbor and was a landing spot of Christopher Columbus in 1502 during his final voyage to the New World.  It is located 22 miles south of Roatan.  The destination is located within the heart of the colonial city, near the Santa Barbara Fort, its cannons and along charming cobblestone streets.

The themed retail destination included retail shopping, local arts and crafts, and a restaurant and bar. The ten-acre site is home to a large, sandy beach. Banana Coast received Porthole Magazine’s Editor’s Choice Award for New Destinations in 2012.

Opened in 2011, the Historic Falmouth Cruise Port represents the redevelopment and reopening of the historic port of Falmouth, Jamaica. The project includes the creation of a 110,000 Square Foot, themed retail shopping destination alongside a dock with two berths capable of hosting over 10,000 visitors per day, including the world’s largest and most modern cruise ships, including Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas. The project employs over 1,000 employees at the port and received the 2011 World Travel Awards’ Caribbean Development of the Year.

With its excellent location and ability to host post-Panamax vessels, many which make the Caribbean their year-round home, the Port of Falmouth hosts cruise ship calls year-round. The destination receives approximately over 500,000 annual visitors.
